The Party Ponies Invade - A Camp Half-Blood Fanfiction Story Leo I woke to find Festus under my bed. I was in cabin 9, and Festus was not under the bunk bed that good ol’ Charlie used to sleep in, but was under the mattress! (This was not the first time this happened.) Then - I really woke up. Gosh, my dreams were getting way too literal. Nyssa was already up. I heard some shouting kids of some god (probably Ares) and some battling kids of some god (probably Ares, too). The warmness of cabin nine pricked my skin. I knew what I was going to do today. (Drumroll please!) Explore bunker nine! This was my first day back at Camp Half-Blood, because I left to be at the WayStation with Calypso. I wanted to visit, and Cal did not want to go with me. “People are going to either make fun of me or hate me” She said, when I asked her if she wanted to go. “Where are you going?” Nyssa asked, as I rummaged around my briefcase. Cal wanted me to bring one, so I was always “Looking like a person who really cares about his belongings,” Cal said. “To bunker 9.” I replied. “You are going to miss breakfast.” “Nah, just fetch me taco supplies, and I’ll cook tacos.” Soon my arms were piled high with taco stuff. Yep, I was ready. ★ ★ ★ Bunker 9 North West of the Geyser Gods. Meg said to stay away from the Myrmekes’ Lair, because they were her friends, but honestly, why would I want to take advice from a non-scary girl( Mental note to never say Meg is non-scary)that rides on a unicorn gifted from a god that is told not to flirt with daughters of Demeter? I soon strolled and wobbled outside, carrying a big weight on my hands. But still, I figured staying close to monsters was a bad idea. I whistled a high pitch melody, and Festus came swooping down. He landed with grace, and bent down low so I could climb on him. He exploded into the air, and breathed a plume of fire, to show off. At first I did not understand why he did that, because fire was natural to me, but when I realised that the fire was shooting down to the southern woods, I screamed because I was already in enough trouble with the dryads. I jumped off Festus, trying to get the flames on me. As soon as I did it, I knew that what I just did was a big mistake. Festus attempted to catch me, but failed. I hurled through the sky. This was the moment I really wanted Jason here, to lift me gently onto the ground. Here is the good news: I caught the flames. Here is the bad news: I was dropping down to the ground 100 miles per hour. I reached the ground, but probably broke a few 100 bones. Yep, that’s so me.
