Scratch School - Animating ✏ Scratch School ✏ Animating ✏ Variables ✏ Messages Scratch School A brand new thing I have brought to Scratch! It's school, but online. Ever since coronavirus infected the world, most kids have been in online learning. I was in it, then me and my family moved somewhere else and didn't have it, but for 2 weeks or more we're having online learning. Scratch School will teach children things even when they're not in online class. Animating Animating is fun! I bet you've thought about being an animator at least once. I definitely have not-- I've thought about it a million times! Okay, not really a million, but you get my point. Everything that needs to be explained is inside the project. You can ask what you would like to ask in the comments! Variables Variables are very important things, and I wasn't able to explain it in the project, but I can give you a brief one here. Variables are added for things usually like games, like a catching game or clicker. But, you can use variables for things like 'bell rang?' or 'I know you' or something like that. Messages No, not the mail in Scratch. It's the code one. It's to tell the other sprites in the project that an event is happening, which is really helpful. Let's just say a sprite's done some animating and it's ready for something else to animate. Yes, I know, you can use variables to be like 'next animation' or something. But sometimes you shouldn't have too many variables! So, messages are important, too. Well, you've reached the end of the (ahem, LONG) instructions! Read the credits if you haven't, please, and have a very good day.
