Kin - chapter 15

Welcome to kin chapter 15! I've been wanting to do a chapter on Trix for a while now. If anything, she was nicer than anyone else in the group. Although now that Harvy wouldn't let her leave her nest, she was feeling a bit angry. "What do you mean I can't help you plan the attacks?" Trix had hissed. "I mean, you're going to have kits Trix. You can't risk their lives as well as your own." Harvy had retorted. "Don't worry Bird will take care of you while we're out." "I suppose I can't argue with the leader." Trix sighed. "I'm not just your leader, I'm your friend. That's why I'm worried about you. I know you're still upset after... the incident... I can't have you throwing yourself into battle to attack that evil cat." Harvy mewed. "I know... I still want to though." "Just stay here and get rest." Harvy said softly. Harvy touched noses with Trix and left. "Uggh, this is going to be sooo boring." Trix muttered. "Rude." Bird said, poping out of nowhere. "Ah, sorry Bird..." Trix mumbled. She curled up in her nest. "So... who's the dad?" Bird asked. She'd asked this before and Trix replied with the same thing. "I told you, he isn't important." Trix grumbled. Toms were the worst. They act like they love you, and you believe them. Then, the second you tell them you're going to have kits, and they leave you for some other she-cat. "So... you don't like him anymore?" Bird asked. "Why are you asking me?" Trix questioned sitting up. Bird was silent for a few moments. "Um... no reason." she said nervously. Trix studied the she-cat skeptically. She was quite pretty with her soft gray pet and stormy green eyes. Bird must have noticed Trix staring at her, because she started laughing nervously. "I need to go!" Bird said quickly, dashing away. Trix sat by herself, lost in thought. /The kits will need another parent to stay her while I fight.../ she glanced to where Bird just was. /maybe.../ ... Glow woke from a nightmare, breathing heavy. It was about Trix. The white she-cat had pinned her down and snapped her neck. Glow shuddered /It was just a dream. Just... a dream.../ ~ fin
