After reading Game Rules and Controls, keep in mind that in the notes' section there is advice, credits, an update log, bug fixes' log, and update priorities. --CONTROLS-- WASD or ARROW KEYS to move. v = look behind you t = show/hide timer. v = reset Record Time. space bar = run --GAME RULES-- - Reach the red gate (not the button) to escape!...kinda - You will die if the hunting ghost catches you. - It starts doing so once you leave the green square. - Your light will flicker and some noise will emanate from the ghost's position when it is nearby. It always knows where you are.

I'm terribly sorry for having to do this, but I permanently removed the Ghost Presence Detector. - 28/04/22: Added rain, thunder & lightning, and a Low Detail Mode button! LDM removes the new elements listed above, and certain text effects. - 30/04/22: Running: press "e" for a temporary speed boost! This comes with a "stamina" bar, visible at the top of the screen. - 01/05/22: Made the "GAME OVER" and "YOU HAVE ESCAPED" fade out effect. - 05/05/22: Made the everything fade in when [Green flag] clicked - 06/05/22: changed certain CONTROL keys for script convenience - 08/05/22: MAJOR graphic update, the light beam is now so much more realistic-looking, and I added a little zone to see your surroundings. To swap back to the OG costume, follow these instructions: "See inside", "Light Beam" sprite, "Costumes", "Original". - 04/11/22: Graphics' update! Well here comes a few changes: The flash light now follows the mouse pointer, the red vignette is less potent (could excessively obstruct sight) and slightly reduced the volume of the ghost's presence. ======================================== --BUG FIXES-- - 06/02/22: Removed a sprite without altering game to reduce lag, fixed consequential bugs and other minor bugs. - 12/02/22: Fixed the flickering sound effect: its origin is now more noticable. - 15/02/22: Fixed bug where escaping triggered the secret ending and the bug where after reaching the secret ending, the player would get stuck in a wall. - 05/03/22: Fixed the difficulty selection buttons' glitching effect. - 29/04/22: Fixed bug where noise would come from the opposite side of the ghost's location. - 30/04/22: Fixed the buggy mess that resulted from Too Many Blocks In One Sprite. - 01/05/22: A lot of bug fixes. - 05/05/22: Fixed some graphic bugs. - 06/05/22: Simplified movement script.
