She grew up with her parents Niam and Ebony and 2 younger siblings, Cyril and Rea (who are twins). For a long time, things were going what people would call 'normal', although Asra always was a bit pressured due to being the oldest. A few monthis after her 17th birthday, she finally decided to come out to her parents as lesbian (and nonbinary). Her parents didn't react.... happy... They kicked her out with a bag of essentials. .. That night Asra would ran away from her village, as nobody wanted to help her or even talk to her. Eventually, she would reach a city called Xbridge where she arrived at the "Golden Lantern Inn". At that place, she met Lilith Clion, a she-cat (and witch), who sat at her table due to being the only one with empty seats left. They quickly broke the ice and had a really neast and at some point deep conversation. They met up at the tavern every day now (where Asra slept or got food is canonly unknown :^) and quickly grew closer, also coming out to each other. After a while, Lilith brought up the topic of how the king was ruling his kingdom. They both thought that he was being way too harsh on everything, tributes/levies, the law, how he treated prisoners, war, everything. Eventually, Asra brought up that they might do something against it - a crazy idea, and she quickly apologized - but Lilith agreed. In their kingdom, the king could only rule if he possessed the 'moongem', a big, misty white citrbernite gemstone. However, it was, of course closely-guarded, hidden at a secret location in Frostshire - a northern, wealthy merchant's city in the Ashvern Peaks (some mountains). They decided to travel there and try to steal the gem, as they both had nothing to lose and the king was- well- one of the worst the kingdom had seen. They packed their bags and left, traveling by hay cart, belonging to a farmer, for the first half and by foot for the second. When they finally arrived, they rented a room in another tavern, and stayed the night. The next month they spent their time locating the little castle, the Ashvern Keep, in which the moongem was hidden, working out a plan how to enter and steal it, and things like that. Excactly nine weeks after they met, they had everything planned out. They would finally do it. Somewhen in the middle of the night, they sneaked in there in disguise, knowing the weak spots and perils. Then, they split up; Asra would steal the moongem from it's *guarded* stash, while Lilith would open the back gate with a spell. At first, their plan worked out perfectly, until on their way through the gardens of the castle, it happened that they stumbled across a troop of guards which spent their break on a few benches. They started running, while the guards chased after them. Although they managed to get out the castle, they couldn't escape, because when they went up the cliff of the River Rock Falls, they found themselves surrounded by guards. As there was no other option, they plucked up the courage and jumped down the cliff, as the way down was short and they had a fair chance of surviving. When they plunged in water, they got separated.... Asra washed up at the shore of the lake of the waterfalls (the River Rock Lake), finding herself in the lower part of Frostshire, the moongem still in her bag. Now she's searching for Lilith, traveling around the country.
