Based off of the game "Wordle" by Josh Wardle (Owned by New York Times), which can be played here: https://www.nytimes.com/games/wordle/index.html Do you finish your Wordle of the day in no time and find yourself with nothing else to do for the rest of the day? Well, this is exactly like Wordle, except you can play as many times as you want and guess up to 600+ different words found in the games built in dictionary. INSTRUCTIONS: Guess the WORDLE in 6 tries. Each guess must be a valid 5 letter word. Hit ENTER to submit, LEFT ARROW to delete a letter. If you are on mobile, use the on-screen keyboard to input your guess. After each guess, the color of the tiles will change to show how close your guess was to the word. A gray tile means that letter is nowhere in the word, a yellow tile means that letter is in the word but in the wrong spot, and a green tile means that letter is in the word and in the correct spot. Some words do have repeating letters, and the game reacts differently based on how many letters are in the word vs. your guess. For example, if you guess EVERY when the word is NEVER: Both E's will be yellow, meaning there ARE 2 E's in the word but both are in the wrong place (If there was only one E in the word, only one E would go yellow in your guess), V and R will also be yellow, and N will be gray. HARD MODE: With hard mode enabled, any revealed hints must be used in your subsequent guesses. What this means is when you get a letter in the right spot, your next guess must have that letter in the same spot also. If a tile goes yellow, you must include the letter of the yellow tile however it can be placed in any given spot. OTHER INFO: This project uses a list of around 12,000 different words to verify if your guess is a real word. If there are any inappropriate words that the game accepts, please let me know and I can remove it from the dictionary immediately. This project is the result of around 5 combined days worth of work and trying to make this as close to the real Wordle as possible.
