EE press space it's actually pretty fun and interesting to force yourself to think and make decisions as if you where one of your characters, even if it's just pokemon Well, if you have nothing else to do with your life you can read my explanation for these teams. (Just because I feel like I need to specify this: This is NOT cannon in my story and is just for fun. I just like to get into character and think like my OCs.) 1: Dream (white tabby cat) Given that she stages a coup on her animal-inhabited planet, she has a very intimidating and powerful team. She cares about scaring her opponents and dealing as much damage as possible. Her Hydreigon is threatend by fairy types (its 4x weak to that type), so she has the poison-type Galarian Slowking to help with that (and it can also help against the bug types that threaten her dark types.) She also has the psychic-types Musharna and Gardevoir to help against the fighting types that threaten her dark types. She overall aims to have a well-balanced team that can dish out a lot of damage... and maybe mentally scar her opponent (hence the Cynthia encounter theme lol). 2: Hal (brown dog with bag) Hal doesn't care all that much about being scary or strong, but he does want to have a reletively balaced team. He chose a few Pokemon that he liked, and filled in the rest of that team with Pokemon that would assist those favorites. Having a huge passion for flowers (d-e-f-i-n-e-t-l-y not inspired by Ferdinand lol), he chose Flores and Venasaur. He also is very winsome and wholesome, hence the fairy-dog Pokemon Slyveon. He noticed that fire types threatend his Venasaur, so he decided to add a rock type to his team. He likes Rockruff because he thinks it looks like him, but he knows that he needs to evolve it into its less-cute form for it to be useable. He also wanted to add a squirrel Pokemon to his team, because he is canonically best friend with an unnamed squirrel (still working on his backstory lol). He doesn't think that the rotund Greedent properly depicts his friend, but he liked the addition to his team nontheless. He noticed that poison types threaten half of his team, so he added the psychic type Alolan Raichu to help with that. 3: Pal (orange-y brown creature) Pal doesn't care about his team being good. He likes the cute and cool Pokemon and ones that remind him of his friends. Pal really likes Snorlax, because he thinks it's cute and can relate to its passion for food and sleep. He also like Growlithe because he thinks it looks like him (he knows that it's stronger if you evolve it, but he thinks Arcanine looks too mean.) He chose a Pidgeotto because he comes from a planet inhabited with reptile-bird-like creatures. On that topic, he likes Cramorant because it reminds him of his childish and goofy creator, Phillip. He has a Rockruff on his team because it reminds him of Hal, and the Meowstic because it reminds him of his "siblings" Melody and Crony. ~~~~~ what am i doing with my life ~~~~~~~ This was actually pretty fun and helped me flesh out my characters. I may do more!!
