You are a paranormal investigator sent on your first mission to a derelict house which is supposedly haunted. After going through weeks of training, you think you know what you're getting into by walking through the front door. This particular ghost, however, is willing to guard its place of death to the very end, bringing with it to the grave all who dare to trespass. INSTRUCTIONS - Click on doors to switch rooms and lightswitches to toggle the lights. - Press J to open and close the journal. - Press B to open and close the inventory. - Press and hold space in certain rooms to hide behind doors. - Read the in-game tutorial by pressing "How To" on the main menu for a more in-depth guide.
=== DESCRIPTION === - Enter a house inhabited by a vengeful ghost to set up equipment, discover evidence, and single out the type of ghost. - Survive one of 20 different types of ghosts, including Banshee, Phantom, and Ghoul, each with their own unique traits, strengths, and weaknesses. - Use strategy to gather evidence quickly and find the ghost as your sanity drops and the ghost gets more and more irritated. - Run for your life as the tables turn, and the hunter becomes the hunted. === CREDITS === - Whispering sounds were made at fasthub.net. - Jumpscare sounds were found online. - Other sounds were also either found online or on Scratch. - As you can probably tell from the poor quality, all art is by me. - This entire game is based off the indie psychological horror game, Phasmophobia. Sixteen of the ghost types in this game are somewhat-modified versions of types in Phasmophobia, with four entirely new ones. (If Erlking, Specter, Ghoul, or Kelpie appear in Phasmophobia, please know I made them here before they were added.) === NOTES === Warning: This game contains jumpscares and flashing lights. You have been warned. This is probably super buggy due to me barely playtesting it. I mean, seriously; who wants to playtest a horror game? If you find any bugs, please let me know in the comments so I can hopefully fix them. Thanks! You'll notice the menu music is the same as the game music for another small (bad) horror game I've made called Guilt. That should be all for Paranorm. Thanks for playing, and leave a love and favorite if you enjoy! Leave a comment saying, "I am a professional paranormal investigator." if you manage to successfully complete all four objectives.
