Every Chinese New Year, there's a tradition to give red envelopes to children. Within the envelopes is... money! In this game there are also black envelopes full of negative money. These are not traditional and don't exist. Do not give someone a black envelope on Lunar New Year, please. Use the left and right arrow keys to move around. Try to collect the red envelopes and avoid the black ones. At the end, enjoy your final count and some fireworks!
Thanks to WiIdOrchird for the original project Chinese New Year Catch. My changes included making the player's sprite into a tiger (my original tiger sprite), adding the black envelopes and negative money aspect, adding fireworks to the end, and extending the gameplay time. I also changed out the music for "Gong Xi, Gong Xi", a traditional New Year's tune my students will recognize.
