Hello everyone! This art process is a little all over the place and very vague but I tried :) I did an art process project a loooonnnggg time ago so I thought I’d remake it and do a redraw! 1. I started out with a sketch. as one does. and I kept flipping the canvas (which I don't usually do to save my brain cells) and it kept looking wrong but this is what I ended up with 2. Then I went to line art and immediately hated it 3. Then I went back to sketching and changed it a little 4. I finally got the line art to place I was happy with and colored the background and some of the line art (I just forgot to take a picture before I colored it oops) 5. I then put down flat colors 6. I did some shading 7. AND THEN DECIDED I absolutely hated it and so I decided to try on my laptop instead :) 8. Second sketch pass to clean it up a little bit 9. The line art (this time I was actually happy with it) 10. Flat colors 11. I added wings (they look ridiculous right now but that's fine 12. Then I added a bunch of overlay layers (mulitply for the shadows and soft light for the highlights + the halo) 13. I changed the background color cause I think it looks better that way 14.
