Okay. This is a lot, but you have to read it all. Believe me, it's important. So... I'm 97% percent sure that that's Itzel's horn. It's black, which means fear. So whoever took the horn either was very scary, or very violent. In the background, up in the top corner, though, there's a horn that has BLUE glowies around it. So what does blue mean? Also, as @lennonloveskawaii pointed out, on @RainbowAcadamy_RP's main, @Hugsie_Bear, they posted an art dump, with a character that looks suspiciously like the one in the background of the first picture. The caption to it was also 'This may be important to some of you...' (Click to next slide). The eyes and the stripy tail match up. The glowing oval-things near the horn in the foreground might be paws, glowing with magic. Going back to Itzel's horn being black. I believe we can rule out their horn turning black because they were scared of the abductor, unless it's got some kind of legend behind it, is really big, threatened them, or has some sort of demon form like that weird cat-thing in Skyward Sword. Assuming that none of those are true, Itzel and the others were thus abducted either violently, or in a very frightening manner. We do know that it was quick, because RainbowAcademy said 'pearly pink is the normal horn color which means it must have happened fast.' So the abductor is very fast or has help. The fast bit implies that it's small, so it can be speedy without excess weight slowing it down. The picture also implies small size. So how does this tiny creature attack, and take out, equine-human hybrids? The answer is either immense power or swarming. Going back to the theory of it having help, a lot of these little creatures, however small they may be, can overpower a student. In the description of the original project, RainbowAcademy said that this creature is draining the magic from the horns. I believe that it's using the magic it stole to make itself stronger, thus being able to take down more students, thus growing even stronger. But it must have had some sort of power at the start, otherwise, it wouldn't be able to take down the first drained. So we come back the Skyward Sword demon kitty. This creature could be able to shapeshift into a much larger, and much more fearsome beast, enabling it to take down its victims. The victims are important too- The creature is only taking unicorns, and possibly alicorns, too. There are also pegasi on the campus, but it's ignoring them completely, as far as we know. This is probably because the pegasi do not have any magical powers other than flight, unlike the unicorns and the alicorns. So it's not hunting just because it can, it's hunting for something specific. But what is that something specific? Is it just trying to gain as much power as possible? Or is it searching for a certain power, and it has to drain the victims to be able to see if they have that power? And why does it leave the horns behind? The creature takes the victims' entire body, presumably so they don't talk about their experience to others, but why doesn't it take the horns, too? It would be wise to take them, otherwise it's going to be found. Or does it want to be found? Which brings up a whole 'nother theory. Maybe the creature wants to be found because it's just a lackey to a higher power, and really doesn't want to be doing this. So who's the higher power? Are there more than one purple creature? Does the higher power want the magic for the same reasons I theorized, or something different? And what about the relation of the purple one(s) to the higher power? Is/are the purple creature(s) possibly the higher power's offspring? Is the higher power gathering the magic to transform the purple creature(s) into 'adult' or 'higher' forms? Also, in the picture with the horns, the creature is wearing something mask-like on its face. (next slide) This could possibly mean that the creature is utilizing gasses of some sort to euthanize or knock out the victim. But there's always the possibility that it's a surgical mask, and the creature is doing some kind of delicate surgery to either remove the horn, extract the magic, or both. But notice the two little lines in the recesses of the mask, just below the eyes. Are those pins of some sort? Straps? But if they're straps, why are they going through the eyes? They're not markings, the creature doesn't have black stripes below its eyes. Update: RainbowAcademy told me that it's the mouth, glowing from the inside, and the black things are fangs. But why's it's mouth glowing from the inside? Can it breathe fire? Or shoot concentrated magic/energy out of its mouth? Also, about the tail. In the picture of it, the creature has a short, thin tail. (next slide) But in the picture with the horns, the tail is very long, seeing as the creature is all the way in the background. So the tail can possibly extend, and the way it circles around the frame implies that it's prehensile. cont.
cont. An extendable prehensile tail would be extremely helpful for abductions, both for restraining the victim, and getting away. That's a lot... but it's all the theories I have for now.
