SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST 4 WINGFEATHER BOOKS I made this project because I think Janner should have a noble and honnered death. Not one where people try to find a loophole so he can live on. However this is just my opinion, but it is based of of logic and facts. see below I got tired of explaining this so yeah. Okay Janner Died, "The death of Janner Wingfeather marked the start of the 5th Epoch" After this his family goes to the first well. Lot's of people think they were gonna save Janner but I think other wise Reason 1: No one even knows that the water of the first well can resurect people, Ouster Will Used this water to keep himself alive. Artham used this water to heal Nugget. Kalmar used this Water to heal Oood the troll. Janner thew this water into Gargan Rockroache's mouth making him grow to a stupendous size. And Gnag drank some of the water but the effects are unknown. In none of these cases has anyone been raised from the dead. Also the Maker gave the First well to Gladys and Dwayne(the first fellows) as a gift. I don't think the Maker would give ordinary people the ability to just raise people from the dead. Reason 2: Janner was the sacrifice so the former Fangs could have a second chance and be human again as Arundelle said he planted the new seed. This goes back to when ouster will was experimenting melding people with animals. The Former Fangs(including Kalmar and the clovens) their souls were melded with Janner's physical body. With out this sacrifice The fangs couldn't have been healed and if he came back to life it would kinda be a mess. Reason 3: Kalmar was sad because he knew Janner couldn't come back to life. He actually was planning on sacrificing his own life. When Janner died he cried "No! It was supposed to be me" hinting that he was planning on sacrificing himself. He knew how this worked because before hand he had gone into the Fane of Fire and talked with the Maker Reason 4: This is perhaps the best and most simple reason. Let us consider the holoel and holore able to do what the water from the first well can do. After all as Janner thought, if it can bend and destroy it can also heal and straiten. Also I am pretty sure the Maker would have created those stones for the purpose of doing good. Why would he just make stone that are meant to desrtoy. It was Ouster Will who misued and abused those stones. When Yurgen tried to heal his son with the holoel and holore it said it was too "late" this hints that his son already died and can't be brought back to life. And since Janner died completely it would be too "late" for the healing power to work as I said earlier I don't think the Maker would just give ordinary people the power to ressurect people. In conclusion the water from the first well can keep someone alive even if on the verge of death(as we see with Ouster Will, Nugget, Oood, and the gargan rockroach(lol)) But it can not bring people back to life Reason 5: Janner did exactly what yurgen did Yurgen gave up his life so the soul of gnag could have a fresh new body(even though Yurgen didn't know he was doing this at the time) so since Yurgen died Janner should have too Sorry if I offended anyone, this is just my opinion if you have a good theory that contradicts this one please let me know I loved to hear and shape even stronger theories, thanks for reading this and if you don't agree comment ('"this project is the worst") I won't report you I promise lol like da project so we can spread this theory
