Warning, slight violence, and blood! ʟᴇᴇʀɪɴɢ ᴍɪʀʀᴏʀꜱ ➴ ➶ Quintus walked beside Kristen. They held hands as they passed through the crowd of people. Everyone stared, they felt many eyes resting upon them. Chills ran up and down Quitus’ spine and he grasped Kristen’s hand tighter. Kristen’s pace slowed, and she looked at Quintus. Her eyes were sharp and stern. She glanced down at Quintus’ dagger and back at Quintus. Quintus’ eyes widened. His reflexes were too slow. Kristen stood over Quintus’ body, a dagger through his stomach, his eyes hurt and despairing. Kristen took the dagger back, “It had to be this way,” she cleaned the blade on her dress, “regards.” Quintus watched her disappear into the horizon. He looked imploringly at the crowd. The pain was too great and Quintus fell back to the ground. Blood spilled to the ground and Quintus’ vision blurred. He clenched his teeth and rubbed his eyes. He felt around in his pocket and found a mirror. He flipped it over and strained his eyes to read an inscription on the back: “Our Love is Until Forever Ends, Kristen.” The mirror seemed to taunt him. It reminded him of his failures, and his blindness. He looked at himself in the mirror, and tears poured out of his eyes. "I am bleeding love. My life is a vapor, and I am fine with that. My legacy shall not continue, but someone someday will continue my beliefs." His lips quivered and his breathing slowed. His voice came out as a sob, “I am a fool. But I am sorry.” the end...
