[As of 8/15/2022, this event has ended. You may still use the comments to post Monster/Artifact bios or post them in the main studio: ( https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/30891414/ ). ] To interact with the project, press space, or click with a mouse. Having been a few weeks, and enough characters made, now feels like a better time than ever to kickstart the RP's very first event! ⚓----------------------------------⚓ With many refugees recently settled in Eldoris, all seems safe- until an eerie, bright red light from the moon shines over the province. It reveals secret entrances to ruins not yet discovered. Perhaps even opening them when they otherwise couldn't be accessed. With the newly revealed ways and means of finding hidden treasures, there are also new dangers. Monsters and seemingly malevolent spirits have awakened, guarding what once belonged to them. To protect their citizens from these new threats, the towns within Eldoris have put on a special bloodmoon festival to keep evil spirits away. The biggest hub of celebration being the already-crimson town of Redbrine, having hosted bloodmoon festivals for generations. Will you venture out into the red night and search for treasures undiscovered? Will you fend off the evils that guard the ruins and threaten Eldoris? Or will you play it safe, and let the celebrations in a nearby town keep your mind off what lies in the wilds? ⚓----------------------------------⚓ If you'd like to participate in the event, feel free to make a written sign-up. Artifact sign-ups are for creating treasures for your character(s) to find (once approved), and monster sign-ups are for creating what guards said ruins, should you choose to explore them. (They also don't have to be monsters. They could be mechs, ghosts, etc. As long as they have a general 'merfolk'/ocean theme). Once you have created a sign-up for a weapon or monster of some kind, create a comment for them below this project so they may be approved. ⚓----------------------------------⚓ Sign-ups: Artifacts: Name | Type (weapon, jewelry, etc.) | Appearance | Abilities (What it allows the wearer/user to do) | Your Character's Name (the one that will be finding/using the artifact.) | History (what it was used for in the past. Optional, sort of like a backstory) Monsters: Name | Type (Spirit/Undead, Mechanical, Monster, Other) | Gender (if any) | Appearance | Abilities (How does it keep people from entering the ruins?) | History (what it was used for in the past. Optional, sort of like a backstory. For undead/sprits, keep scratch's guidelines in mind, and don't be too graphic.) Alternatively, for some monsters with an established history, it is highly recommended to use the official written character template. Especially if you plan to use them after the event. The written template can be found in the main RP studio:
