Press X to shoot Once all enemies are cleared from a room, press space to advance. Metroids have one health, but all the other enemies have randomized health, so if you hit an enemy and it doesn't die, it isn't a bug. I added a color change effect to show when you hit enemies with more than one health. Game-modes: Normal Mode: Has 4 bosses, 160 energy given to start. Zero Mission: Same as Normal Mode, but you start with only 1 energy. Energy can be regained through energy tanks which randomly appear for short amounts of time. Shoot them to collect them. Dread Mode: Harder enemies, 3 bosses, x-parasites will spawn after defeating a non-x-parasite enemy, only 80 energy given to start, EMMIs randomly fade in near the edges of the screen, you have to hit them before they fully come into view in order to fend them off. Arcade Mode: Infinite randomized levels. Score points for every level you clear. Boss Rush Mode: Beat all of the bosses back to back. Smash Bros. Mode: Defeat all of the Smash Bros. characters.

Learn which enemies to prioritize damaging first. Normal Mode: The second boss (In Normal Mode) only takes damage if you push it all the way to the wall. The third boss (in Normal Mode) can only be damaged when its shell is open. Dread Mode: If you see a white robot fading into view on the side of your screen, hit it quickly!!! Once it is fully visible, it will do a lot of damage and disappear again. The first boss (in Dread Mode) can randomly jump forward quickly. Watch out! Smash Bros. Mode: Mario (Also applies to Luigi): Can't be damaged while he is in the pipe.
