Use WASD or the arrow keys to move. You can click the trees, rocks and iron ore to mine them. Once you've hit them enough, they will disappear and some of the resources will go into your inventory, which you can assess by pressing e or i. You can also craft numerous items that will help you out in your inventory. Some items like wood and stone appear in your hotbar, and can be placed down. When monsters attack, they have to destroy the blocks in their way before they can move on to catch you. You can also craft a sword or bow and arrows, and kill them! To attack, you can click, and if you are using the sword, the sword will slash out and kill the enemy. If you're using a bow, the arrow will charge up, and then you will fire. You can also craft the tools pickaxe and axe. They will give you more resources if you use them on their respective resources. Wood for axe, and stone + iron for pickaxe. You can tell the difference between stone and iron by looking at the sprites. Iron has little white splotches in it. Stone does not. There are even more things you can craft and do in the game, but to find those out, you'll have to play the game! These are just the basics!
