Hello Daylynelle Fam! The VERY long awaited Daylynelle allbum is HERE!!! "Imperfect" is a collection of our newest and past songs. You will find FOUR new songs that haven't been released ANYWHERE on scratch until now. We are SO EXCITED for you to hear each song. Why "Imperfect" as the title? Throughout this whole process of making this album we've ran into bumps, curves, complications, imperfect. One thing is for sure, this album is imperfect, we are imperfect. These songs represent the hard times we've been through and how imperfect our lives are. History of Daylynelle: We became Daylynelle on December 26th 2020. We started posting covers often and then thought of making an album. We were never serious until this summer and now here it is! Songs info: Colorless: "Colorless" is the only song we all worked on together from start to finish. It took us probably at least 2 months to finish due to covid issues and just other things. It was written in Day's bedroom and it resembles covid and seeing how friendships have changed in this time and how it affects us. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/529708248/ << find lyrics here Stereotypical Life: This song was written by me (Day) I got the idea while folding clothes and I ran to the piano straight away to work on it. It's about this girl who thinks movies are reality and is discouraged that her life isn't like that. She learns that those movie stereotypes isn't the life she wants for herself. I wrote this song in 2 hours. Thank you Again: Once again written by me (Day) I was really sad at this time of my life. It was my first completed song and it's about my uh... *cough* "friends" quote unquote Envy: Written by Day. I was inspired by Jealousy, Jealousy CLERALY and I thought of things I envy. I thought outside of the appearance and thought about parts of someone's personality that I envy and that's how I wrote the song. Spectating: written by Ailyn. This song is also about my "friends" and about how I was never able to tell them anything about how I felt about them Notes App: I was thinking of a cool song idea, and I thought of my notes app on my phone since that's where I write all of my ideas.
