Wow, I actually attempted to do realism, and on a cat, and in greyscale. I`m so proud of myself /hj Anyways, arrow/space to proceed | click to zoom 1. A sketch referenced off my cat *^^* 2. Sudden jump hhh, but I colored it and hid the sketch layer 3-7, some edits and watermark + date made The bg is rlly lazy, but the cat :0 I`ve always considered myself 'bad' at drawing cats, but I think a reference is all I need (in this case, my cat. He did change pose and woke up a while after, so I just put my 'knowledge' of cats into it ;-; *cough* 'knowledge'). I love it so much hahah, and the fact that it isn`t the same pose as my ref makes me even more happy! Greyscale is just <3 you can`t change my mind ;)
I spent about an hour on this, and boy, was that one of the best hours I`ve ever had in a while. I used 2 layers, one for cat, other for background :0 not counting the watermark and sketch layer
