All had been silent in the darkness. But a faint echo of a silky voice rang out through the abyss. Wivren opened her eyes, they glowed faintly, but their light was swallowed the second it reached out. Wivren stretched out her neck, listening for any other sound. Once satisfied with what she had heard, she reached for the great silver axe resting nearby and started towards a faint bluish glow far in the dark. A voice rang out, echoing across the dark plains. "Wivren, have you found one?" called a voice. Wivren turned. "Yes, Clem. I have picked up a scent. Not too awful, but worthy of death." she replied. Clem laughed. "You're much too serious, but be careful. The faintest trails are usually the worst." she replied. Wivren turned back, she walked out from the dark abyss and into the light. Inside the dimly lit hall a map of middle earth hung from a ceiling lost in darkness. Wivren traced her finger over the map and a small light shone just outside the symbol of Mirkwood. "There you are.." Wivren grinned. She grabbed her axe and stormed out of the hall. .::. Mahlbereth stumbled out from the trees of Mirkwood. Panting, she looked at her sister. She and Crystal had been running for what seemed like hours since they had escaped from the wood elves. Mahlbereth straightened up. She gazed around. They were in a grassland. Little coverage was brought from a few trees growing up. Upon further inspection, Mahlbereth saw a deeply cut river, winding its way through the land. It stretched from Mirkwood to farther than her eyes could see. Mahlbereth looked back at Crystal. Something moved at the corner of her vision. Mahlbereth whipped around and saw a faint glowing. A silver gleam faded into the darkness. Mahlbereth rubbed her eyes. Was she seeing things? ((AND SO ENDS CHAPTER SEVEN!!!! I know it's short but that is meant to fulfil a purpose!)) Credit to @Penga for the axe.
