Special thanks to @MegaIncineroar. "Starkiller" was Luke's original name, but they changed it to "Skywalker" because they thought "Starkiller" was too grotesque. The name Starkiller was then re-used for the base in the Force Awakens and the character in "The Force Unleashed".
