This game was created as a project for Digital Technologies! 'Who Was It?' is a murder mystery game where you play as a detective called to solve murders. There are two murders you can solve; a family dinner party, gone wrong, and a deadly study session. Using the settings button located on the level screen or pause menu for each level, you can adjust the amount of time set to complete the level or volume of the music. After you press the 'Level 1' or 'Level 2' button, you spawn into a room. In this room, there are three possible murder weapons to find. If your cursor comes into contact with any of these items, it will glow. To increase the difficulty for the player, in level 2, the amount of glow around the weapons decreases. Use the arrow keys provided to switch to a different room. The left arrow that appears after you begin leads you to a room containing three criminals. Tap on each criminal to read their file that contains their DNA sample, or use the red button that appears to accuse that suspect. Use the right arrow on the criminals’ page to return to the weapons room. The right arrow on the weapons room leads you to the crime scene. While there is no dead body, there is a file containing the victim's description, autopsy results, and a description of their final moments. Using the descriptions of the different possible deaths in the controls, figure out the cause of death and link it to the murder weapon. Use the DNA related to the weapon to determine which suspect was guilty. There are three possible endings you can achieve. You choose the right suspect, choose the wrong suspect, or run out of time and choose no suspect.
