Thank you for 150 followers, man, younger me would not believe that I reached that milestone! :) Thank you so much for the support!!! HAHA, I have finally knocked another meme off the list- and the difference between the old and new art is very clear, lol. So take this bad rendition of this meme, complete with bad re-coloring, old art, and an impulse to draw my character with bloomers as a coping mechanism for not being able to sew some in real life. ;-; It will be noted that I started this meme back in FEBRUARY, when I was in a bLoOmErS iNdUcEd RaGe, so, like any rational person, I just decided to slap some on my gal Lisa to deal with not having them irl. Obviously. When I talk about bloomers, by the way, I’m talking about the kind of pants Amelia Bloomer trend-ized (???) in 1851, also known as Turkish trousers, that became part of the rational dress moment, that LaTeR got adopted again as a form of cycling garments in the 1895 area of time where cycling was super popular and stuff. (Along with some other, genius inventions, like ✨secret pants ✨) Lol, I was looking at Bikes & Bloomer’s awesome patterns, and the tailored bloomers were just *chefs kiss*, so of course, I became obsessed. Credits: (Amazing, insane, awesome) code: @CapitanFluffy Art: @Thecatperson19 OC: Lisa (designed by me) Song: Oh Wonder - Without You (Justice Skolnik remix) Dang, can we talk about all the people chattering about the Rational Dress Movement and somehow getting the reason why the bloomers were shut down right, but then turning around and basically accusing their clothing of being frivolous and unsmart. How can they manage to get the hard part right and the easy part wrong??? Sorry for the ramble, lol.
