Originally, this was intended to be a good hurricane season simulator. After having difficulties making it at least somewhat reasonable, I decided to rebrand it as "The Worst Hurricane Season Simulator". This game is not realistic and is at this point, only meant for fun and perhaps humor. Feel free to remix this as much as you want, you don't even have to ask me. Click on buttons on left part of screen to toggle. Press C to clear tracks. Game includes: EWRCs Rapid intensification Wind shear Humidity Naming list number is the big number on the bottom left corner. It will change each year. You will not see all of these features while playing, but it is embedded inside the code.
The map was made with MapChart. Credit to @HurricaneLuca and @JuliusTrackingYT for many things in the game they've suggested. If you notice any bugs with the game, feel free to point them out so I can try to fix them. To-do list of suggestions: Active storms list Damage and deaths counter Storm data for past storms February 12th, 2022 Added numbering for tropical depressions. They will become names if they become tropical storms. February 10th, 2022 All naming lists added for tropical cyclones. I will eventually add numbering for tropical depressions. The naming list #1 does include Ida but that is because it is not officially retired but 99.99% will be in the future. February 8th 2022 Added Saharan Air Layer outbreaks. They will harm tropical cyclones. February 7th, 2022 New things added/changed such as humidity and tropical cyclones number. Other changes include the change in the color for a low pressure and tropical cyclones after they dissipate will have their track shown until it dies entirely. February 6th, 2022 Added names. Currently, it is only List 2 but has the Auxiliary. I plan on adding the other naming lists and numbering for tropical depressions. February 5th, 2022 Added ENSO status, it will effect wind shear unless it is neutral. Some other changes/things have bene added/done.
