This is my old cat, Espresso. When she was 8 (@nerdy4learning, I asked my mom and she said 8, not 6 or 7, sorry. And, sorry about your dog) she started to act weird....well.....weirder than usual. She stopped eating. EVEN HER FAVORITE FOOD (chicken). She refused to go on walks, and she couldn't sleep. A week goes by, and I finally notice. I wait a day to see if she acts better, but she doesn't. I cry in my room for a bit, then I tell my parents. We take her to the vet, and she finds a lump on her......chest...... Then, she diagnosed her with kitty cancer. She said it was too late for surgery and all that we could do was wait to see if she gets any better. We wait, and wait, and wait. A month goes by, and she only gets worse. I knew how much pain she was in (a different story for a different day) so.....we finally decided to put her down. The last night of her living, we all slept around Espresso's bed. I waited until everyone was asleep I took Espresso, held her tight, and just lost it. I cried myself to sleep that night. I love you Espresso. There will always be a spot in my heart for you! :,)
That is my favorite song. My dad would sing it to me when I was little. And, when I would read, I would listen to it, and Espresso would cuddle in my lap. I still do it, but now I have a new friend to cuddle my worries away. Mochi. :D
