Since my Digi suit project has got a loooot of attention, I figured posting about another suit I’m working on could be well-received :P The thumbnail of the project is the design I will be using for this suit. Space/click/tap the backdrop for next picture.
Captions of pictures, in order Tail section: 1. I’ve made the pattern, here I’m comparing it to Digi’s tail so you can get a vague idea of how big it is lol- When I wear Digi’s tail, it doesn’t touch the floor but comes a few inches close. This tail should drag behind me for a good amount of length XD 2. All of the fur pieces have been cut out, ready to sew. 3. Most of the pieces have been sewn, the not sewn ones have orange papers on them 4. Finally, both sides are done! 5. Clipping both sides together for sewing… 6. It’s stuffed and ready for additional details. 7. Made a hidden belt hole, when you brush the fur over it, it’s pretty much not there :o 8. My first attempt at making a gore detail. It turned out a bit messy, but that’s alright. In this picture, it’s been sewn over the top of the tail and covers the foam base. 9. The tail is complete! Propped it up against a door for pictures. 10. The final edit of the tail I made, this is what I posted to my DeviantArt. (I’m Frufflepaw there, if you were wondering) Headbase section: 1. Pattern has been made. 2. Cut it out, and made final edits. 3. The foam has been cut out. At this point only the top muzzle has been carved (it’s one of the neatest carves I’ve done so far!) 4. It’s carved!! All the pieces are glued onto the bucket head at this point. 5. This is where I’m currently at. The head is mostly taped, and I’ve added the big fluff frill pieces to the head. Just need to tape a bit more, then it’ll be time to fur! Overall I’m VERY proud of how the headbase turned out so far, it’s already a major improvement over the crappy canine one I made almost 2 years ago.
