Press and hold space to go up and arrow keys to move in other directions. The down arrow makes you plummet. Avoid any kind of obstruction EXCEPT the brown sticks. Those are bridges you can bounce on. Avoid the Bulborb, Bulbmin, cave monster, and Plasm Wraith in their respective levels. Also avoid lethal water and other hazards like the wraiths golden goop, the walls, spikes, and leaves up top. You can abandon 3 onions for a life by pressing the "cash in" button. Touching the pink onion that appears will give +1 extra life and +1 onions saved. They can spawn in un-collectable areas but theres a 50% of them spawning so you'll get it eventually.
