I created this project myself. Everything is 100% by me. The sounds are found on an online sound source (I forgot the name of it). If you used any of my art, please consider giving credit. It took me a long time to create each tank. History: The M3 Lee was an American medium tank, replacing the unreliable M2A1 medium tank. It was designed so that the Americans have a medium tank of theirs during World War II to encounter German panzers effectively, and it was also one of the first medium tanks designed during the war, other than the Medium Tank M2. Designed hastily and rather peculiar looking, the Lee tank housed a 75mm gun barrel at the hull, along with a 37mm gun at the main turret and two to four .30 caliber Browning machine guns. Because the M4 Sherman came into production and replaced the M3 Lee tank, many of the M3 tanks produced, including M3A1 variants, were sent to the British desert army during the battle of North Africa from 1941-1943, and officially licensed as "General Grant" tanks, or Grant I. The "Grant" tanks generally featured a 40mm British QF 2-pounder gun instead of the 37mm M6 in the modified turret, and some of the Browning machine guns are replaced by BESA or Bren machine guns. Another key difference is the addition of a shield around the tracks to protect against the sand, as well as a differently-shaped upper turret with no cupula or the machine gun. Six to seven experienced tank crew (commander, gunner, assistant gunner, loader, driver, assistant driver) operate one Lee tank. The tank could drive up to 16-26 mph (26-42 km/h) and are one of the first American multi-turret tanks.
