There was a prophecy from the Starcestors, saying 2 cats from each Clan(10 in total) have to go on a dangerous journey to save The Forgotten Clans. The regular Clans, as you may know as ThunderClan, WindClan, ShadowClan, SkyClan and RiverClan, have no knowledge, so the cats have to save the Clans themselves.
