Well, I thought, "It's Black History Month, so why not do a BHM project!" I am pretty happy with how it turned out, and I hope everyone takes inspiration from these 6 BHM figures! 1. Dorothy Vaughan: one of the first black female figures to become a supervisor at NASA! 2. Pearl Primus: dancer who brought African dances to America and shared her culture! 3. Wilma Rudolph: Olympic runner who went on to earn Olympic metals! 4. Zora Neal Hurston: writer known for writing books with black protagonists, something a lot of people during her time never did! 5. Alma Thomas: known for her tile art style that gained her high recognition during the 20th century! 6. Nina Simone: singer known for songs that protested with civil rights!
