= = DATABASE = = Orbit Man (Shutter Defense Unit No. 4) Weapon: Orbit Blockade - four capsules manipulated to surround the user Gear: None = = NOTES = = (Stinky old version: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/455965741/ ) This one's been bugging me for a while, so I finally redid it. Now the sprites are slightly better and the attacks no longer reek of sheriffs with Badge Barriers. The inspiration from Force Man's sprites is still there though. (Robe Man is still better) = = AI EXPLANATION = = He has 3 attacks in this order: -Orbit Man shoots 3 bullets towards the player, and once all the bullets leave the screen, Orbit Man pulls those bullets and the player towards him, and once Orbit Man get back the bullets, he quickly orbits them around him before launching them at different speeds. -He separates his body from his (non-existent) legs, and follows the player while occasionally pulling his (once again non-existent) legs toward him. -He shoots the ground to release two pieces of junk, then he manipulates the junk to shoot towards the player Then he jumps back to repeat the cycle. This happens twice before he activates his Orbit Blockade, which renders him invulnerable to attacks while he does another attack cycle above. After that, he launches his Orbit Blockade that rolls across the ground and breaks once it hits a wall. He jumps back, and the entire cycle above repeats again. I don't know how to describe it better please forgive me = = CREDITS = = CAPCOM for Mega Man MaGMML2 Cyber Man for the tileset MM8BDM for some sound effects MegaMari for the boss theme Cave Story for the clouds. Just finished a mostly blind playthrough of all the endings in that game. Not entirely sure what I just played but I feel inspired The rest is by me. i still don't know why orbit man is number 4
