Click the flag to reset, set the simulation speed to 0 to pause. Click to create cells, this will temporarily pause the simulation Changing resolution will change the size of the grid, but will also reset everything, be careful.
It's a basic implementation of Conway's Game of Life, I'll probably improve it later on. If you're interested, I would suggest looking at one of the many interesting articles on placss like Wikipedia for more info.
