The creatures accepted them as a all-mighty and powerful creature, though it’s unclear if xe has powers or not. It has spent his time learning about the creatures so he can rule them better. Since the creatures have been able to make portals to other worlds, Owl has traveled the universe multiple times, finding out about them, including the human world. There, he usually annoys mortals and steals things.
