━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ➥ Borean Iron Borean iron is mined from the Balkan Mountains in Thrace, the home of the god of the North wind, Boreas. Borean Iron is rare enough, and is reserved for people worthy of owning an item made with such metal. It also can be combined with mortal carbon to make Borean steel. Pure Borean iron ore has a glowing cobalt color, but once smelted and malleable, the material can be turned into a working item and the color will change to navy blue and will begin emitting a cold vapor. The iron's temperature (in Fahrenheit) is often in the low -100 and below, dropping out at -200 degrees. At this temperature, the iron has the capability to freeze things on contact, from human skin to other temperature resistant metals. Because of the iron's mythical properties, it is incredibly dangerous to carry. Wielders of Borean Iron weapon will usually wear sheaths made of a highly temperature-resistant Underworld Stone. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ➥ Underworld Stone Underworld Stone is incredibly common in the Underworld, and can be easily manipulated by magic (similarly to Hades’ Throne). A benefit is that it is highly temperature resistant, brittle when carved thin enough; it doesn’t make an ideal weapon. It’s also incredibly light-weight, so carrying large amounts of the stone to carve a shield out of it wouldn’t be much of a hassle. The Stone is dark gray, with midnight black marbling throughout; the marbling comes out after the carving is finished, and is heated-treated. And if your item of choice breaks, it can be fixed if you heated up enough; only then does it become malleable enough to put back together. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ➥ Spectral Obsidian Spectral Obsidian is a material made by either cooling lava or molten Underworld Stone in waters of Acheron. It has the same glossy black color and white marbling to Stygian Iron, but rather than slicing the souls out of monsters, it inflicts more pain than a normal attack would. Spectral Obsidian is a bit light for weapons, so having a pommel is optimal to balance it out. And it isn’t a magical material. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ➥ Black Glass Black Glass is a glass made from the black sand found in the Underworld. It’s incredibly dense, and allows the owner to see ghosts and spirits they wouldn’t have seen before. But Black Glass isn’t a material used for weapons, but rather for show; like beads on a bracelet. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ➥ Celestial Iron/Steel Celestial Iron/Steel acts just like Celestial Bronze, except it has magnetic properties. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ➥ Diamonds of Haste Diamonds of Haste are unique minerals, known for their ability to change traits by harnessing the power of Zeus. By absorbing energy from the diamond wielder, the diamond will harden to an unbelievable strength, making it virtually unbreakable. Its sharpness also increases. It's found on Mount Olympus, among other materials. Credits: ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
