5th place on @Hooraycoding‘s writing contest! 2nd place @jamsineandlily’s writing contest! Best monologue I’ve ever written! Well, in my opinion. It’s about Elisa’s sister’s death from fighting in the resistance in Poland, and she regrets that she could’ve done something before she died to prevent it from happening, and to be a better sister in general. *warning* Contains details about the Holocaust. If you are uncomfortable or if the subject triggers you too much, don’t read it. Word count: 954. ( monologues aren’t usually that long but it doesn’t matter because no one is performing it.) Time writing-10-15 minutes. Sad songs were streamed on my phone for inspiration. The time period is 1944 Poland, one year before ww2 ended and the time when the Warsaw uprising happened.
