How it works: Pick any natural, positive number. - If it is even, divide it by 2. - If it is odd, multiply it by 3 and then add 1. Repeat this cycle. No matter what will be the beginning number, you will always come up with a 1 on the end. If you continue to cycle, you will realize you are stuck with 4, 2 and 1.
