Welcome to Grasslands - One of my biggest projects yet! Use the Arrow Keys or the WAD keys to play :) The average playthrough (from my 100s of times playing it) is around 8-12 hours so a save/load system is necessary! A completionist playthrough is around 15-16 hours. This Game Consists of Multiple Levels! CREDITS @griffpatch - for Scrolling Platformer base @StratfordJames - For Main Player UPDATE: Added 150 new levels! Completely overhauled the game engine, shifting from a costume based scrolling platformer to a tile engine(thanks to griffpatch's tutorial on a tile scrolling platformer). The implementation of a level editor allowed me to make over 150 levels(50 more than what was promised)! New world, Neptune, with differing gravity and new mechanics. Revamped level and tweaked difficulty and level scaling. Added a heart-based health bar and new enemies. The next update will be the final update, hopefully featuring a large-scale boss fight, godmode(after beating the game), over 500 new levels(hopefully), a new world, and much much more. The next update will, additionally, mark the end of development. UPDATE: Added over 234 new levels, and revamped title screen. Balanced all the older levels to be a bit more forgiving. Tons of bug fixes. Revamped player character! Added endless mode, which is procedurally generated levels repeated. {Next Update will feature the end of development; expect around 100 new levels(with great art), final boss fight, balance changes to all levels, and a part two...} UPDATE: Revamped all levels to make it more easier to play (just a bit). I also added 26 new levels and made the platformer more story centric (there is a story involved rather than endless levels). NPCS are added into the game. Town Square is added to the game. Added 3 mini bosses to the game. Added a wayyy better title screen and difficulty mode. Added speed run mode and new UI. Added more powerups for player. Added a save/load system for the future (next update may have 234 new levels....no joke....its gonna take a while; eta is January of 2025).
