This project is intended to help young actors practice remembering their lines. Click on the microphone in the bottom left corner to change the language. Type the name of the language in the prompt that appears. Click on the skeleton to show or hide "the bare bones"* of the current dialogue. *This is not actually why I chose a skeleton; I just thought a dancing skeleton would look dope. Press and hold "R" for three seconds to clear all current dialogue. Press "space" to start the performance. When the program reaches your speaking part, press "L" to see what your line was and to resume the performance. To add a line of dialogue, click on the actor who you want to speak the part. You may have up to four automatic actors and one actor representing your lines. The actor on the far left is you. The others are, in order, "alto", "tenor", "squeak", and "giant". After clicking the actor who will speak the line, type the line itself. After you have typed the line, another prompt will show; here, type the "time slot" during which that line should be read. (More on time slots in a moment). The top number shows how many "time slots" are currently in use. During the performance, the bottom number will show which "time slot" the performance is at. Here's how "time slots" work: Unless the dialogue includes lines that are meant to be spoken at the same time, each "time slot" represents a different line of dialogue. The program starts at "time slot one", and every actor with a line in "time slot onr" will read their line. Then, the program will move onto "time slot two", and every actor with a line in "time slot two" will read their line at "time slot two". Any time slot where you have a line of dialogue will not pass until you press "L". To erase a line of dialogue without deleting EVERY line, select the actor with the line, and type "*". Set the time slot to the slot of the line of dialogue to be eliminated.
