He knew this because earlier, he had tried to get rid of his stash of hejakiuhadsakloxide, an illegal medication, by flushing it down the toilet, but the toilet [was no longer working, and it was having a hard time keeping up with him.] Harold decided that it would be a good idea to fix the toilet so [that it could start working again.] He tried flushing the toilet again. But then, the toilet shook, and a stream of rats [began to pour out of it.] "Oh no," he said. "Not again..." [He tried to push the plunger, but the] rats [were still coming. It was too late. The toilet was on fire.] The rats [began to pour out of it again.] At this point, the rats were [finally starting to bite the plunger. Harold realized that he should have tried pushing the plunger, because the rats were coming after him. He tried calling his neighbors, but they would never speak to him] because he had told the neighbors that they were poop butts, [so they ignored him.] The rats, [meanwhile, were getting worse.] Now, not only were they still gushing out of the toilet, but they were also [gushing out of the sink], too. Harold's house was now flooding with rats, which were all rushing upstairs to attack him. Harold decided to run downstairs to the kitchen, but when he got there, the rats were eating [his soup.] "You darn rats!" Harold screamed. "That's my soup! Stop!" But the rats didn't care because they were rats. They started splashing soup everywhere. ā[No! No!"] he screamed. The rats began to [pour out of the kitchen sink, then started to] splash around [in the water. The kitchen was full of rats. All of them began to run] at Harold. [Harold realized that he] needed to escape the house. He looked over at the door. It was covered in rats. Harold ran back to the bathroom to try and get some sort of weapon, but then, the walls started to crack. ["What the heck?]" He muttered. Suddenly, thousands of rats exploded out of the walls. [All of them started running at Harold again.] Harold realized the only way to escape the rat-infested house was to [run for his life.] And so, he did, but first, he got a mop to defend himself with. Harold ran to the front door, even though rats were crawling all over it. Harold slapped the rats off it [with his mop, and] tried flinging open the door, but the rats [would not let him out.] They started [running at him.] Harold hit them with [his mop.] Rats [crawled all over him and] started eating [his mop.] Meanwhile, his next-door neighbor, Mr. Reeman, was drinking some coffee. He walked over to his window and saw Harold being [attacked by all the rats.] Mr. Reeman laughed at Harold's pain as he looked over at a strange book. "That'll teach him." [Mr. Reeman said.] He suddenly turned into a [big rat] and [ran away.]
