Welcome to the Online Collatz Conjecture calculator, a project designed to let people online co-ordinatively attempt to find a solution to the Collatz Conjecture! Just hit the green flag, make sure you are a scratcher and not a new scratcher, and help us find an exception to the Collatz Conjecture! (If you have no clue what that is, google it. ). All the variables that are important for you to see clearly explain their purpose in their name; The other ones that do not explain their purpose are not important to understand, as long as they are changing, it's working!
Update: May 30th, 2023: Added average calculations per second(This is the number of numbers you've tested per second). It updates once every 10 seconds. This can help you figure out how fast you can help us calculate this. This is just for fun to see how high we can get; The chances of us actually getting to a number high enough to find an exception are extremely low. However, scratch could theoretically find an exception, as the highest number that scratch has is 1.7976931348623157 * 10 ^ 308. The collatz conjecture has only ever been calculated up to 2^68, which is equal to about 2.95*10^20- A much smaller number than scratches maximum!
