Controls: O to start the animation, P to stop it. K to automatically cycle through frames and L to allow you to manually go through using the Left and Right arrow keys. 363 blocks of code and 10 hours later... it's done. Part-based animation, a concept I had been toying with the idea of for a while now. I am not the best artist and animations are important for a game to look good. Drawing each individual frame takes a long time and the final product will allow me to animate much more efficiently in the future. I can also make different costumes/variations of things using the same animation to save time. I might make a game using this sometime soon, but for now I just wanted to share something I made that I thought was pretty cool. If you're still on this project reading this, thank you so much. One extra view on my project means a lot, and maybe comment what you think? I'll get back to you pretty soon.
All scripts and art were made by me. Want to use this in your own projects? Go for it and maybe send a comment telling me so I can check out the creative ways you utilize it. Try remixing and changing the art for each body part.
