1. how are you? just wanted to tell you that you are beautiful, smart, amazing, and you deserve the world. I'm a hot mess but hey, aren't we all? 2. what kind of art do you enjoy doing? One word: sketching :D 3. what is you favorite medium? Sketching/drawing on paper and sketchbooks. I also like painting although I'm not too good with brushes lol 4. who is your favorite artist? I don't really watch or follow artists, I don't like making myself jealous 5. where do you get your inspiration? Mostly from my older sister, video games/tv (I make a lot of fanart) webcomics, and my manga books. 6. what do you like to create? Like said previously, I LOVE making fanart of characters or love ships in my own art style. I'd say 70% of what I draw is usually art of characters I love or get inspired from. 7. when have you started doing art? Since, well, as long as I can remember, probably around the age of two to be precise. Back then, it was just circles with stick arms and legs and a smiley face! I'd always see my older siblings draw amazing art and I'd always thrive to try and draw as good as them. 8. are you planning/doing art for a career? I don't want to start commissioning or deviantarts or anything social-media based. I think I would want to write and illustrate my own mangas and maybe turn them into TV shows. Although, my main focus of the art I want to do is music, I hope to get into a girl group or start a band of some sort and learn new instruments. 9. do you post art here? Rarely. I don't want to get my art stolen or made fun of, that's why I didn't add any art to the cover of this project 10. are you interested in art history? YESSS I LOVE going to art exhibits and museums filled with old art. I went to a Dior art exhibit a few years back with some of my family (it also included fashion, which I have an interest in) It was one of the most AMAZING things I have ever seen, it was filled with old art and fashion designs and really inspired me. 11. do you go to any classes for art? No, last time I took art was a few years ago for school and it was mandatory. I don't have any particular interest in taking classes at the moment, I enjoy simply drawing and also journaling. 12. list 5 of your inspirations. it can be anyone! My big sis, and Marinette Dupain-Cheng (those who know, know.) And also Alexander Wang. 13. do you ever get burnt out? if so, how do you deal with it? Sometimes. Lately I've been doing art nonstop though. 14. what supplies do you use to draw? Sketchbooks, journals, I'll print cute characters for journaling, mechanical pencils, pencils, black outline pen, shading markers, jelly-roll pens, blendy pens, a variety of other small things. 15. do you like painting? Yes, although I'm not very good at it and I don't do it often. 16. do you sell your artwork? No, and I don't really want to unless I became a fashion designer (which I don't think I will bc I have no plans of doing so. 17. what do you like to listen to while you draw? My K-pop CDs on my CD player+MDR-7506 sony headphones (I borrow the headphones from my dad) I specifically like listening to my Twicetagram CD, it is really calming to listen to and helps me come up with ideas or I'll listen to my cello CD. Or I'll listen to my YouTube music playlists on my chromebook. 18. what's the hardest thing in art for you? Drawing wrinkles and folds in clothing. 19. what skill are you learning/want to learn? I want to draw manga style better so I can create my first manga. 20. do you put filters over your artwork? I don't do digital art at the moment 21. does you family support you and your art? Yep! My family is pretty artsy lol my dad has even met really famous musical artists, like coldplay (yes I'm not kidding he actually has met them and even worked with them) 22. do you consider yourself as a beginner? Not exactly, but I am always pushing myself to get better. 23. what is a rule you always go by when creating art? Try not to be too mad when you screw something up, because it honestly helps you get better. 24. do you like drawing backgrounds? Sometimes. I don't really draw them much 25. can someone commission you? if so, put details! Nope sorry lol 26. what is the most important part of art? (color, form, etc.) All of it. All the parts of art work together to make something beautiful, it won't be the same otherwise! 27. do you like to shade? Yeah, I have a lot of fun practicing! 28. if you were to give a young artist a piece of advice, what would it be? Remember it's ok to mess up. It really is. 29. as an artist, where do you see yourself in 2 years? Good question, I think I'll hopefully be better at art and more into music aswell. I want to keep collecting vinyls and korean pop CDs too lol 30. last question! do you genuinely enjoy making art? Yes! I have no clue where I'd be without art, and almost all my hobbies involve some form of art lol.
