Click the magenta or press the spacebar to flip between the two pieces of art. This is Bit. He's a crypto bird who tries to make money selling "currency alternatives". He presents a random item (usually an animal shaped stress ball) and tells darkners that if they give him enough money for it, they can "reserve" it and it will represent the amount of currency that they paid. After all, who wants to carry alll those dark dollars around when you can just stuff it into this metaphorical piggy bank and call it a day? Money is just a construct we made up! Anything can have value if you assign it that! ...What? No, you can't HAVE the thing. You didn't BUY it, it just REPRESENTS the amount of money you spent. You want your money back? Uuuuh... He makes attempts to seem enigmatic and cool, with mixed results. At heart he's really kind of just a showy dork. He's easily startled and can often be thrown off his game or made to go on a tangent when customers do something he doesn't expect. He doesn't care a ton for his job, and is usually most comfortable sitting in his nest of tangled wires at home. He doesn't hate it, he just doesn't want it to be his entire personality or consume his mind and soul. This means he's not so popular with his more business-minded peers. He likes hats, scarves, and vests, and has a collection of these in his closet. (This species is really cool!! I like how the long arms on a bird looking body [where you'd expect wings] + the cut-out-of-the-world-looking static stuff makes them look just slightly unnerving. I kinda leaned into the bird and TV like elements more than was mentioned in the project though-)
