click to zoom and space for next! gAh his design is so beautiful <333 I love it so much it was really comforting to draw him though, his colors are so aesthetic to look at, and he in general just looks so cool asldkjfkldj <3333 art pieces: 1. just him looking kewl i guess?? i dunno but i’m proud of it :3 2. this was actually my first drawing of him, i’m not really sure what happened? it didn’t turn out that well, but i still like it i guess 3. coming soon, i love this character a lot :3333 bio and backstory below! -BIO- Name: Fen he/him Personality: Fen is a quiet reserved guy who always has on an emotionless expression it seems. He’s mysterious, peaceful, and never overreacts at things, and always finds a good way to resolve conflicts without violence or shouting. However, he does have a soft side to him, and often the emotionless mask falls when he’s with those that he cares and trusts, and others get to experience another side to him. And even though he may act disinterested, he actually cares a lot, and helps others, dismissing his own acts of kindness no matter how big or small, and doesn’t taking anything in return for those acts. Abilities: can manipulate wind and water -BACKSTORY- (note: the world where he’s going to live in if I win him has magic and yes pfft) From a young age, Fen suffered from insomnia. He would spend entire nights awake, silently suffering. He would lie on bed for hours on end, unable to fall asleep. His powers would rage out of control, mini tornadoes and thunderstorms trailing around him, getting worse the less that he slept. When he was tired, miniature hurricanes would rampage uncontrollably within his vicinity, and even on his better days, rainstorms would burst into existence around him. Eventually, as his powers began to rage out of control, others tried to find ways to stop his sudden outbursts. This was a dark time for Fen, and he was almost never happy during this time. How others looked at him as though he was a problem made it worse. He knew that he was problematic, others his age were already able to control their powers with ease. He knew that his powers were causing others to get annoyed, but he couldn’t help it. But, he was too tired to do anything about it. However, during this dark time, there was light. Someone who lived in his neighborhood didn’t look at him the way others did. This person’s gaze wasn’t filled with pity or annoyance, but rather with acceptance. They didn’t judge Fen for having no control over his powers, or for his insomnia. Instead, they treated Fen with kindness. They gifted Fen a dolphin plushie, a golden necklace, and a rainbow pinwheel. He was inseparable from them. He wore the necklace night and day, never taking it off. He carried the dolphin with him everywhere, and slept with it at night. These objects helped his insomnia, allowing him to fall asleep every night, and allowing him the rest that before had eluded him. As his insomnia got better, and he wasn’t tired every waking minute, so did his abilities. Clouds wouldn’t randomly follow him around unless he wanted them to, winds wouldn’t whip around him in a cyclone unless he wanted them to. Gradually, his control over his powers got better, and others no longer saw him as an annoyance as time went on. As he grew older, although his emotionless expression remained there as it had when he was younger, his life is filled with much more light than there had been when he was younger, and he fills his days with doing the things that he loves, helping others, practicing his magic, and enjoying time with those that he loves and cares about. ——————————— eep hehe my story skills ;v; alksdjfldkjf i love his design so much, i hope i win him!
