Chapter two -- Found Keigo Takami (Hawks) … Click.. “Ahem.. Attention, all residents of this dump of a world..” Keigo’s head perked up as he heard the message, listening to the voice he thought he’d probably never hear again.. “This is.. Dabi.. speaking from an “unspecified location, that you cannot trace”..” The part was said in sarcasm, as Keigo assumed he’d been told to say that, and thought of it as.. well, lame, most likely. A sigh echoed over the city’s speakers, along with some unintelligible mumbling, before the speech resumed. “Today is a rare occasion, and I wouldn’t expect to hear from me much… I am speaking today on behalf of Himiko Toga, who recently has gone missing from our signals..” This news caused murmurs to erupt throughout the building. Himiko Toga had a very interesting quirk; the ability to develop someone’s features for an amount of time, depending on how much of their blood she consumed. She could easily hide among them all, disguised in someone else’s skin. “Yes, yes, very disheartening, especially to those played by her, let me tell you, it’s like she keeps a record of everyone who’s fu- ..Eh-?” Muffled talking was heard over the speakers, too quiet to determine what was being said. “ ….. Well, I'm sorry if I’m ranting again, you try living alone for 11 years.. Anyways.. all trying to bring down the bases of section 9, 2, 4, and 8, abort this mission immediately. You have 10 minutes.. Ooh, so eerie..” Click.. The noise echoed across the area, as Keigo sighed. He knew plenty of To-... Dabi’s rants.. He had to listen to them back in high school.. He knew they weren’t because of his solitude from being a villain, but from the solitude given by his family.. He couldn’t help it. When someone gave him the time of day he normally started to talk and just couldn’t stop. The last time Keigo had actually seen him, not on television, not for work purposes or on a call.. Was at that time, 11 years ago.. Takami sighs once more, knowing he still loved him.. It was so strange, the way… the way Touya.. Had changed…. Keigo knew he wasn’t like this. He wondered if the abuse had finally gotten to him.. 17 years old, it was interesting.. Because Keigo had been 14. Well- 15.. Still, just a reckless kid.. He had a crush on his upperclassman, Touya Todoroki, classic high school drama.. Though all the kids seemed to love UA, Touya was different.. He stared at everything as if it was the very reason for the numerous lines on his neck, he visibly showed, and the bruises and burns all over his body.. Self given, it’s what Keigo thought. He had an extremely powerful quirk.. Poor endeavor must have been worried sick about the boy, he hoped he had a therapist.. It made Keigo want to reach out to him. He had always had the strangest urge to heal the boy, comfort him, he would kiss every scar on his body if he had to- Keigo stopped his thoughts, feeling the tears burning his eyes. Erasure gave him an apologetic look, most likely assuming it was for those he’d failed to save.. He'd failed to save him. He'd failed to save Touya..
I understand that this is a short chapter, it's to get deeper into the understanding of Keigo's relationship with Dabi before he vanished. Love you all for reading this, tho <3 I'm gonna start adding in music (the Undertale soundtrack, of course.) to these projects-
