Updates have been moved to Flash Flood 2, which is more organized and more active! https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/29928561/ --------------------------------------------------------------- Go to alternate games (and Flash Flood 2) using the Flash Flood portal! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/432072335/ --------------------------------------------------------------- INSTRUCTIONS: Arrow keys to move and jump. WASD broke the game so the WASD keys are discontinued (They are only usable in the lobby, the Phase 1 maps, and Dystopian Tower.) Green buttons are buttons that need to be pressed. Blue buttons are buttons that were already pressed. Yellow buttons are buttons that will need to be pressed later. Pretty simple, right? WRONG! There's also a FLOOD chasing you while you're at it! Stay away from that or you'll lose oxygen! The flood has three states: Water (lose oxygen slowly), acid (lose oxygen quickly), and lava (die). Also be careful of red KILLBRICKS! They won't kill you like lava, but they'll teleport you backward in the level! Maybe even take you back to the start! Wall jumps are kinda confusing if you don't play Flood Escape 2. You can touch them to stick to them, then press the up arrow to jump right off! Ladders are... ... ...ladders. And finally, the EXIT! This is your main goal in the game! Get to the EXIT to win a map and move on to the next difficulty! But some exits are FAKE! There are two types of fake exits: The nice one that progresses you further into the map and the bad one, which you shouldn't touch, or it might not end well... The new Easy Way Out button will let you skip a difficulty! You'll need at least 200 Easy Points to use it though... Luckily, you get 10 Easy Points for every map you complete! Also you can hide the button by pressing Q! Physics have never been more like Flood Escape 2 in here than in any other Scratch FE2 project! (I've definitely tried searching.) Ok, now read the Notes and Credits. Come back up here after you're done. --------------------------------------------------------------- MAP MAKING: Yes, you can make your own maps! Just watch the tutorial and use the kit! Map Making Kit / Map Test: Map Making Tutorial: NO URL YET LOL We also have CHALLENGE MAPS! They can be played here: Things NOT to do when making a map: 1. Tamper with the coding in the "Player" sprite unless you know how to use every single block in there. 2. Make an impossible map on purpose. 3. Make an inappropriate/offensive map. 4. Delete everything. Seriously, what's the point in that? --------------------------------------------------------------- KEYS: As I mentioned above, arrow keys are how you move. But there is also a soundbar if you wanted to hear some Flash Flood sound effects! The letter keys in the top row will make sounds when pressed. The A key is the winner's key! Win an event or challenge to gain control of this key until the next event! The Q key plays the 'pop' sound in the soundbar, but it also hides the MOBILE CONTROLS button. The [O] key instantly kills you (resets your character!) The [P] key does nothing for now. The [S] key is the Winner's Key! If you win an event or competition, you could own this key temporarily! Press F to pay respects. The [G] key is the GIFT key. If a milestone is reached, press [G] to get a present! The [H] key is the EVENT key. If an event is happening, press [H] to go to it. Sometimes, you might get misplaced when teleporting back in the lobby, so troubleshoot that by pressing [J]. [K] is the variable management key. Press [K] to switch between which variables show and which ones hide. The [L] key MIGHT be used for Low Detail Mode in the future! The first five keys of the lower row (Z X C V B) are the Challenge Map keys! They control the Challenge Map menu. The M key changes the color of the Player while the N key gives random tips and fun facts! That's all you need to learn about keys! --------------------------------------------------------------- [This project isn't mobile-friendly due to bugs that might affect gameplay on PC too. There are mobile controls, but they S U C K, so I recommend you use PC on this. But here is an explanation of Mobile Controls anyway: -To use the NEW mobile controls (which suck) click the Mobile Controls button. Then you'll be able to tap on the screen to move your character in that direction. -To use the OLD mobile controls (which suck even more) tap the Player, then click on the Mobile Controls button. Then, you can swipe the slider to move and use the jump (and dive) button to jump (and dive). You can't do both of them at once so don't use these.]
Press 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 to set the difficulty.
