arrow keys to move move down cursor to see inventory move your cursor over the tools button and then press the number key of that item press space to talk with any NPC you are touching click on the dirt to mine it stone is useless (for now) but soon you will be able to use it to make tools and stuff, but I only had 10 minutes to make this (no joke, I checked the time it took exactly 10 minutes and 7 seconds) so for now, stone does not have a use.
