Hello! Welcome to my "Learning Elvish" series, where I teach you how to write and speak Elvish! This series is open to simply anyone who would like to try learning it. You may ask any questions you like below! -- Review: Elvish is a language created by @cat_tap for the game Hiro's Haven, which has not yet been released, but however... It has two versions, a symbol version and a letter version, which may be easier to understand! This language is of course spoken by the Elves, including me and my friend Kira! -- The symbol version cannot be used in comments, but it can be used in projects. You may use whatever version you please, but the symbol version is preferred in projects! (CT: You can use https://kleki.com to draw the symbols if you want. It's a bit easier than reshaping!) -- Since there is no translator, I have decided simply to teach people! So, please watch and enjoy! In this lesson, we cover... • Introduction • Me/you pronouns, a couple descriptive words • Main words (Hello, yes, bad, etc.) • Grammar -- I have chosen some music that we might both enjoy :) It is called Sunny, by Bensound. The lovely green backgrounds in here are made by @cat_tap, using Kleki. (CT: No I'm not trying to brag it's just how Misty talks.) https://kleki.com The code is mostly by @cat_tap, but we worked together a little, and I wrote everything in Elvish ;) The "Text-to-Speech" engine is from Google Translate. (CT: Some of the words are using Hungarian to pronounce them and others are using English, so the voice changes sometimes. (Others are actually combinations of the two- I'm surprised I managed to do that xD) The accent isn't always completely correct though, so when I figure out how to do the voice acting thing I can change it to me saying the words. :)) -- (Honestly, I have no idea what I'm talking about, so most of this is written under @cat_tap's instruction. xD) (CT: P.S. this is just an introduction, you can barely say much with just this bit :() -- tu donī va kéē! :D
