Hi! Please read the whole thumbnail! ————————————————————————— Description: This is a beautiful poem written by Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller. He was a German who wrote this in 1946 as a post war confession. He wrote it then, but I think it also has a meaning now, because of what is happening in Ukraine. This poem shows us that we can’t just stand and watch peaceful people die. We need to do something about it. ————————————————————————— WHAT WE CAN DO TO HELP: Here are some ways that we can indirectly help the people of Ukraine: 1. Protest! We can protest in front of ANYWHERE! It doesn’t need to be in front of the UN! Even if the building doesn’t have anything to do with anything, STILL PROTEST FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN!!! 2. Spread the word! We can tell anyone who doesn’t know about this, what’s happening. It’s important for EVERYONE to learn about what is happening in this world. Spread the word! 3. Learn more! If we learn more about Ukraine’s history, than we can help them even more! Here is a project that teaches you the history of Ukraine. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/651401477 I hope this helped you realize that even if you’re miles away, you can still help! :D
Credits: The poem is NOT by me. All of that credit goes to Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller. He made the poem. The background is the Scratch pre made stuff, (I wanted to get this out fast instead of having to draw a background). Idk who made the music, i found it on Scratch. ————————————————————————— Notes: If you haven’t yet, please read the FULL instructions thumbnail at the top. Thank you!
