press space, click the images, or use the right/left arrow keys to progress through the images - deep in the hills of the moor stands a quaint town, all houses almost exactly alike. that is, except the library, which is a foreboding stone tower that hovers over all. in one of the windows, a single candle is lit. day after day, it flickers, relit by the librarian that has spent their whole life tending to the shelves of books and protecting the village from whatever else this structure was meant to contain. but as days wear on, people lose their respect and faith for the library. it’s halls are no longer lit by comforting light and sparkled with joyful laughter. nobody goes near the place, leaving the librarian forever alone. the loneliness destroys them, more of their skin becoming glass as it eats away at what is their soul. they know time is scarce and they’ve begun calling out in the night, just to see if anyone will come. but no one does, and as the glass seals their mouth, they say one last word that reaches nobody’s ears. the candle has flickered out, god help us from whatever is lurking in those halls. note this excerpt is a prompt, you may choose to use it or you may choose to ignore it. - design notes: - glasses are optional - wings on the sides of their head - stars and clouds make up the cream speckles - back legs are glass reflecting the stars - here’s the design! i actually like how it came out. most of my designs have decently bright aesthetics so it was nicer to try a softer, darker aesthetic for a change. hope you enjoy them (: - song .
