press the flag, then once it asks you for something, drag it into the bowl. if you want to make real mochi, the recipe is in notes and credits. I have been working on this for 5 months :) i was chewing on an eraser and it bit my tounge.
( i used the recipe off a site called allrecipes) what you need: 1 cup of sweetend red bean paste 1 cup of sweet rice flour (mochiko) 1 teaspoon of grean tea powder (matcha) 1 cup of water 1/4 cup of white sugar 1/2 cup of white cornstarch. (for rolling out the dough aluminum foil and plastic wrap one you have all of those ingredients, you can begin. we start by wrapping the red bean paste in aluminum foil, then place it in the freezer for three hours. after its done, mix the sweet rice flower and green tea powder together. stir, then add in some water. stir some more and add in sugar. make sure the mixture is in a microwave safe bowl. put the mixture in the microwave for 3 minutes and 30 seconds. take out the red bean paste and cut it into 8 equal balls. set aside. stir the mixture again, then heat for another 15 to 30 seconds. dust the work surface with cornstarch. while the mochi is still hot, begin rolling balls about the size of 2 tablespoons. flatten the mochi ball and place 1 frozen red bean paste in the center. pinch the mochi around the bean paste until it is completely covered.
